Brandt and I woke up this morning to explore McKinney Falls. I have been there many times and had not gone to, or remembered some of the deep down in the woods places.
First of all...THE PICTURES...The top one is using the "underwater" setting on my SUPERcamera. It turned out pretty rockin. I'll give Brandt credit because he reminded me of the setting. The one with Brandt in it is on the homestead. It's apparently a no trespassing zone, but...THAT'S NO FUN!
Yesturday, Brandt showed up at mi casa around...heh, I don't remember the time...but we were both still full of breakfast so we drove to Mount Bonnell. We explored that amazingness and then made our way to lunch at Taco Bueno! Yum! I think it's better than Taco Bell...it's a cleaner taste...in a "I don't feel yucky after eating this food" way.
After lunch we made our way to the Wildflower Center!!! Woo! It was really fun, not including the painful feet. I chose to wear flipflops and now have little blister inbetween my little piggy that went to the market and the little piggy that stayed home.
I tried to upload pictures for each exploration but the compy comp is slow.
After that flower exploration we went down Brodie and bought some Snow Cones...official ones that aren't just crushed ice...but shaved ice. YUM! I got Rainbow and Brandt got Tigers Blood...Rainbow wins!!! Well, Brandt liked his too, but my vote counts more on my blog.
Then we went back to mi casa and watched Fantastic Mr. Fox. It's was quite the movie. In a good way!
So today was basically dedicated to McKinney falls. Rockin'!
I hope everyone elses summer has been kicked off nicely as well!
I'm working on some curtains for my closet. And this weekend I'll start painting at Barb's housie house. Woo. Woo!
