As great as this picture is...eh hem, I wanted to put a festive picture up and post this today so I picked this one of my uncle Warren helping us fry a turkey...more like my grandma telling us what not to do (she watched the whole news report on it: frying your turkey safely).
I'm getting into a cooking mood...actually, more baking than cooking. I got home on Monday afternoon and ended up making cookies that very day, chocolate chip. Now, two days later I've baked another batch of cookies, snickerdoodle. The chocolate chip ones were just break apart ones, but I got to mix the snickerdoodle batter, then up the dough into balls and then rolling it in cinnamon and sugar. I was going to make a double layered cake but I decided to save that for closer to Christmas so it wasn't just mom, dad, and I picking at it. My later baking ideas are chocolate chip cookies with peppermint and Christmas food coloring, Holiday Funfetti cake, Red velvet double layered cake, and salsa!!! Oh, and more snickerdoodles! Fun huh?
THIS JUST END! I'm adding layered pumpkin pie "cupcakes" to the baking list! Heck yeah!
Now...when will I organize my room? Tomorrow? I told myself it was going to be Tuesday. Nope. I'm also supposed to be getting my hair trimmed. Have I? Nope.
Why is ET so addictive to my eyes?
Dear Santa letters! Children and parents are turning to Santa for help. Maybe Santa is a large white-bearded man but maybe Santa is also more of a concept. Anyone who brings joy or gifts eh?
Global Angle Tree??? Isn't that a good idea. A website that is dedicated to people adding their address and needs from Santa for the Christmas holiday and then helpful people that visit the website adopt their address for the season and send them a package of gifts that the families asked for. Isn't that a great idea? How could we get that rolling before next Christmas.
Water for Elephants...I want that book to read.
I Love You Philip Morris...I want to see that movie.
