OH THE THINGS I DO ON A WHIM

"It's not on a whim anymore if you put on clean underwear!"-I don't remember where that came from. On the second day of summer this is what I did, I cleaned off Grandma's patio and revealed a lot of bugs. (Again to the tune of The 12 Days of Christmas.) Before lunch I was just checking out the back yard and when I was summoned back to the car I had the plan to fix up grandma's driveway. But then we're on our way to Texican Cafe and I smell poop. Turns out I stepped in cat poop. There were rocks in the sink! At Texican I mean...It was crazy...and not so sanitary for the little kid who decides to play with them after I've washed off my shoe. So yeah, we get back from lunch and I don't even sit down...well, I do go to the bathroom but that's not included...and I find a broom and start with the steps on her back porch and ended up clearing off in entire patio...almost by myself but my mom was planning on leaving at 3:30 and she came out and I asked her to help pick up the plastic whatevers and she ended up picking up the rake as well...It was a nice boost of helping energy...too bad we don't get along like that all the time. Team work only goes so far. There was a black bird that flew down at one point and picked up a roach that I just sprayed with killer WHICH I DIDN'T PUT AWAY! GEEZ! I kept running in and out of the house too because I'd keep noticing things I forgot to do...o well! I found a huge worm too and put in the wheelbarrel just waiting for it to swoop down, it took a few tries but she noticed it after a while. In the end I was indeed payed for it, but G-ma asked and I responded with, "It's up to you cuz I'm just doing this so I feel like I have a purpose." Normally we all just sit around and watch stupid TV shows...like the Dr. Phil makes people cry including me Show. But not today folk. And I did it all in my new tie-dyed shirt :) The pile of leaves I put in the back of the back yard (doesn't make sense to me either) is huge! The visiting chickens should have fun with all the bugs they can find in that mess. Now I want to go back and fix up the sides of the house and the grass! I told her free of charge, but it's always nice to get some income. Oh personal finance, I'm done with you in class! But in real life, NEVER! *You can pretend that the picture is a clean patio...but don't give yourself a headache.
